![]() The DelRubio Triplets, (whose real name is Boyd), who were billed as "3 Gals, 3 Guitars, 1 Birthday" entertained many for 60 years. They disbanded when the first sister, Eadie, died in 1996.
Well on March 19th, a second triplet, Elena died at her home in the San Pedro district after a short battle with cancer. The triplets who never married, lived in together in a mobile home that overlooked the ocean. They became famous in the 80's and appeared on television shows, "Ellen," "The Golden Girls," "Full House," "Married... with Children," and "Pee Wee's Playhouse."
Morbid Curiosity source JIm, told me that he attended her funeral. Elena had an open casket and was wearing a pair of dark blue leotards and a blue pull over sweater, quite informal. They played "Unforgetable," sung by the Del Rubios. She was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery along with her sister Eadie. The middle grave is reserved for Milly when her time comes.
Stay tuned Elena's photo is on the way.....

He had a long history of substance abuse, which wreaked havoc on his body and led to a liver transplant in 1992. Prior to that in the 1980's, he claimed to have finally kicked his drug and booze habit, following a court-ordered rehab stint. Since the liver transplant his health was never the same. He suffered a series of ailments which required hospitalization. Just when doctors believed he was making a comeback health wise, he took a turn for the worse.
He succumbed to heart failure at a Los Angeles hospital Sunday morning (March 18th). His family including his three daughters, Mackenzie, Chynna and Bijou, were with him when he died. He was 65.
This Oscar nominated actress was best known for "The Ann Sothern Show."
Towards the end of her life she remained housebound, blind in one eye and plagued with constant pain she sustained from an accident in 1974. A tragic onstage accident occurred when a piece of scenery fell on her during a dinner theater performance. Despite a broken back, she finished the show. Near the end of her life she spent her time doing good for others who were without. She painted and donated hand carved religious statues to her local Catholic church. She died of heart failure at her home in Ketchum, Idaho on March 15th. Actress Ann Sothern died at age 92.

Well it doesn't seem to be a good day for some famous wives.
Happy Trails to Dale Evans who died today from congestive heart failure. She was surrounded by her family, whom said she went peacefully. She will be buried next to her husband Roy, in a spectacular gravesite located
in Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, California. By what I saw on the news it's all snowy. Which looks very pretty. Their grave is a must see. To find the cemetery take I-15 to the Hwy 18 east to Apple Valley make a left at Corwin then right on Waalew Road drive to the end the cemetery is on the left.
